Boys, including 14-year-old, arrested in connection with armed robbery at chip shop

Police were called to Thicketford Road in Tonge Moor just before 10pm on Friday to reports of men acting suspiciously.Officers arrived at the scene and detained three teenagers.Following a search, each were allegedly found to have blades.The three boys, aged between 14-years-old and 16-years-old, were arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article in a public place.GMP say they have since been further arrested in connection with a robbery last month.
