Bomb squad deployed after fireworks found in blaze-hit shop

A police bomb squad has been deployed after fireworks were found in a Glasgow shop which went up in flames at the weekend.The Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit is currently on the scene at the store in the Gallowgate tenement building following the deliberate blaze on Saturday night.Cops have sealed off an area of the east end street and said enquiries are ongoing.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a fire within a shop on Gallowgate, Glasgow, around 5.30pm on Saturday, 16 May, 2020."Nobody was injured as a result of the fire which is being treated as wilful."Fireworks were found within the property and the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team were contacted to safely remove them."Enquiries are ongoing."A Scottish
