The Trotters are in pre-season training and are gearing up for a campaign back in the third tier of English football, with their first friendly this weekend on the road against Longridge Town.

Wanderers arrived there after achieving automatic promotion out of League Two last season with a top three finish. And they have strengthened well this summer transfer window, reinforcing several areas of the squad at the University of Bolton Stadium.
