Simon Cowell
Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Cowell is the principal, founder and chief executive of the British entertainment company Syco.
Amanda Holden
Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

Britain’s Got Talent was off to a dramatic start on Wednesday's live semi-final after Simon Cowell disagreed with co-judge David Walliams over Les Sancho's performance.

During the opening of the show, Les Sancho put on an energetic performance to which Simon, 62, buzzed the act off by pressing the dreaded red button.The judge, who was called "Mr Grumpy" by hosts Ant and Dec, then told the booing audience: "Shut up!" Delivering his feedback, Simon told Les Sancho that their first audition was full of "fun" and "personality" whereas their performance on Wednesday's semi-final was "everything he has seen before with a dance group".

With Simon standing up from his chair as he threatened to storm off, replying: "I will!" Amanda Holden was quick to defuse the situation as she playfully threw her arms in the air.

While David quickly added: "No, no, no don't because you pay our wages!" with the audience laughing. It comes after David explained why he uses a different chair to his co-judges on Britain’s Got Talent.
