Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

BBC The One Show viewers 'switch off' as they make same noise complaint about guests

Some viewers of The One Show have said they found themselves 'switching off' the programme as they made the same complaint about the show's latest guests.

The BBC One magazine programme returned on Thursday night (April 28) with Alex Jones and Ronan Keating. They welcomed comedians Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan onto the programme, along with Bonnie Langford as the trio appeared live on the sofa in the studio.

Romesh and Rob were on the programme to chat about the new series of their show, Rob and Romesh Vs, while Bonnie was celebrating 50 years on stage.

However, viewers were quickly heading to social media to complain about the guests, claiming they were "too loud" as the show descended in chaos.
