BBC Strictly Come Dancing viewers 'screaming' as they think Angela Scanlon has been 'replaced' amid 'undermarked' complaints

Strictly Come Dancing fans said they were 'screaming' as they thought Angela Scanlon had been replaced by another star. The Irish presenter was back in the ballroom on Saturday night (October 7) for the annual Movie Week extravaganza.

And it appears there was no better way to start the first themed week of the 2023 series than with the Strictly cast celebrating 100 years of Disney.

The BBC One dance contest's group of professional dancers opened the show with a special Disney medley featuring songs from across the entertainment firm's biggest films which included songs from Pocahontas, Frozen and red-haired Dianne Buswell leading the dance to The Little Mermaid.

The show's hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman than began the third week of the competition by being escorted into the ballroom by Mickey and Minnie Mouse while fellow iconic and much-loved characters Pluto, Goofy, Donald and Daisy Duck also walked out with the judges.
