BBC issues major update on Line of Duty and Bodyguard's future

It has been on our screens for years but now Line of Duty writer Jed Mercurio is reportedly undecided on whether to bring back the show for another season.

Season six ended earlier this year with all main characters Vicky McClure, Martin Compston and Adrian Dunbar still very much alive.

But since the last series ended with the reveal of the mystery 'H', it has left fans wondering if Line of Duty is now done for good.Mercurio is also said to be unsure about bringing back his and other popular drama The Bodyguard, which starred Marvel actor Richard Madden.
