ASDA packaging change means popular items now cost 15p each in UK supermarkets

Some products are now so cheap, one shopper managed to do an entire weekly shop for £1.05. One member of the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group Facebook page shared a picture of the items she bought to stock up her freezer, including nine bags of beef strips, two bags of chicken drumsticks and four bags of mince - with the receipts showing a total charge of just over £1 after further discounts.

She wrote: "Not sure how or why but got all this for just £1.05 altogether. The more freezer meat I bought the more discount I got." Another customer
