THE One Show fans were all saying the same thing tonight as Lord Alan Sugar appeared on the show via video link. With the Apprentice supremo coming from what appeared to be a small cubicle, many joked that he was broadcasting from his downstairs toilet.

Lord Sugar, 74, was shown with a wall on either side of him and two large Rolex clocks behind him. One puzzled viewer tweeted: "has @Lord_Sugar converted his downstairs toilet into an office ?" Another laughed: "I love the fact @Lord_Sugar has a pair of @ROLEX clocks in his downstairs toilet." A third posted: "Alan Sugar trapped in his downstairs loo on the #OneShow." The Amstrad founder and longtime BBC star was appearing on The One Show to promote the forthcoming series of the Apprentice.
