Anna Kendrick Gets Stuck In an Elevator Hours Before 'Alice Darling' Premiere at TIFF

Just hours before, Anna revealed to fans on Instagram that she had to be rescued by a handful of firefighters after getting stuck in an elevator with her team. “I got in the wrong elevator at the wrong time,” Anna joked with People about the experience. “I got out,” she added. “Some lovely Canadian firefighters had me crawl out the top of the hatch…it was, like, seven of us in an elevator just waiting to be rescued by firefighters.
It was so absurd that it would happen on a film press tour that it just seemed so immediately comical.” FYI: Anna wore a Maticevski dress.
