Steven George Gerrard MBE (born 30 May 1980) is an English professional football manager and former player who manages Scottish Premiership club Rangers.
He spent the majority of his playing career as a central midfielder for Liverpool, with most of that time spent as club captain, as well as captaining the England national team. Widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time,
Gerrard was awarded the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year award in 2005, and the Ballon d'Or Bronze Award. In 2009, Zinedine Zidane and Pelé said that they considered Gerrard to be the best footballer in the world.
Alfredo Morelos was replaced with Rangers on their way out of the Europa League and Steven Gerrard appeared to snub him as he made his way to the bench.
The Ibrox boss had decided to take him off with 13 minutes to go and he made his way straight to his seat in the stand and looked frustrated.
He would have been feeling like that after a disappointing performance - as the whole Rangers team did. But it was the sight of him heading straight past Gerrard on the touchline, only for the Gers gaffer to then give captain James Tavernier a high-five as he came off at the same time, that would have worried those watching.
