There is also concern from fans that longtime host, Alex Trebek, won't be returning as he's currently battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in March of 2019, is looking forward to taping new episodes once filming resumes after the COVID-19 pandemic.“Alex is looking forward to resuming production as soon as we are able to do so. He’s told us he wants to be one of the first shows back in production,” a rep for the longtime game show told TV Line.This Friday the last pre-taped episode of the show will air, leading many fans to worry they’ll be viewing Trebek’s final hosting gig.

As of Friday, June 12, Jeopardy! will be out of new episodes to air. The long-running game show hosted by Alex Trebek shut down production, as did just about every show in the United States, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
