A woman who is accusing former first minister Alex Salmond of sexual assault was cross examined by his lawyer at the High Court in Edinburgh today.
The woman, identified only as Woman H, was asked by Salmond's defence agent, Shelagh McCall QC, why she did not alert security at Bute House following an alleged sex attack there in June 2014.Asking the witness about the alleged June 2014 attack, McCall asked Woman H why she didn’t try to alert a security guard in Bute House.Woman H said: “I was scared.
I was embarrassed.“I don’t know if you’ve ever been the victim of a sexual attack.“Everyone reacts differently. I wish I had physically reacted but I just turned to stone.”Woman H said she didn’t try to alert security at Bute House in June 2014
