Supermarket giants Aldi and Lidl have found themselves in a bitter price war. The pair are both fighting it out over some basic but essential items.
Those who shop at Aldi will find discounted carrots (1kg), white potatoes (2kg), parsnips (500g), red and white cabbages, brussels sprouts (500g) and swede.
Lidl has a similar selection of reduced vegetables - but instead of a 2kg bag of white potatoes, it is offering a 1.5kg of mini potatoes.
