An Airdrie minister is asking the Monklands community to come together for a weekly contemplation to remember those who have died during the coronavirus pandemic and to show solidarity with their bereaved loved ones.Reverend Robbie Hamilton, of New Wellwynd parish church, is suggesting that people hold a two-minute silence at 8pm on Sunday from their doorsteps and windows – starting from this weekend, April 19.His idea is to honour those who have passed away, noting that the UK total for Covid-19 deaths in hospitals passed the grim figure of 10,000 on Sunday; and also to remember those who have died of other causes since lockdown was imposed and whose funerals have been restricted to just a handful of mourners.Rev Hamilton is asking people
