We all like to think that we can take on big challenges, but after the first episode of Hell Week aired on RTÉ, there was a collective agreement that what the celebrities had to face was indeed hellish.
The Irish celebrities who took part in Hell Week were doing so in the hope of raising money for their chosen charities, but chances are they had no idea what was ahead of them.
The line up includes former Ireland rugby player Peter Stringer, Fair City star Ryan Andrews, Stephanie Roche, Valerie Mulcahy and fitness influencer Niamh Cullen.
The first challenge saw the recruits jump out of a helicopter into the sea but even that proved too much for model Paul Olima and Donegal footballer Eamon McGee who both couldn’t jump and left the show.
