But hey, at least we have “Palm Springs,” the new wacky time loop comedy in the vein of “Groundhog Day” that stars Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti.
It doesn’t make up for everything we’re not getting this summer, but it’s so good that I briefly forgot about all that other stuff.“Palm Springs” introduces a major new wrinkle in this subgenre of films where the main character has to relive a day over and over again, by having other characters also experience the loop.
