A committee will this week consider a report setting out how the local authority intends to progress its plans to replace two primary school buildings in Perth with one facility.

The committee is scheduled to consider and comment on the report on Wednesday, April 29.Councillors will be asked to put forward their opinions on a proposal to build a brand new school building for pupils at North Muirton Primary School and Balhousie Primary School during a virtual meeting taking place tomorrow.It follows two public consultation events held earlier this year where parents learned the plan is to build the new school on land south of the existing North Muirton Primary School.Balhousie is scheduled to close in 2022, with the pupils being integrated
