Victim at centre of 'horrific' murder probe named as police plea for help

Thomas Williamson was fatally injured during a stabbing in Tyldesley in the early hours of yesterday morning, September 25. Police were called to Charleston Court, off Charles Street, just before 1.30am to reports of a "concern for welfare".
