Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy Was The Voice of Paddington Bear & Even Won 'Dancing With The Stars'
justjared.comPeople around the world are now learning new things about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Before being elected to office in 2019, he was in the entertainment industry and actually provided the voice of Paddington bear in the Ukrainian-dubbed versions of 2014’s Paddington and its 2017 sequel Paddington 2.
That wasn’t all of Volodymyr‘s credits – he even won the country’s version of Dancing With The Stars in 2006. Volodymyr was also part of a competitive comedy team, following pursuing a law degree at Kryvyi Rih Institute of Economics.
His additional acting credits also include a starring role as the president of Ukraine on the popular television series Servant of the People.
Over the weekend, Volodymyr spoke of the Russian attacks against Ukraine. “We are not putting down arms. We will be defending our country, because our weapon is truth, and our truth is that this is our land, our country, our children, and we will defend all of this,” he said in a video last week, according to a CNN translation. “That is it.
