UEFA are currently in discussions over Champions League and Europa League plans after the cancellation of Ligue 1 on Tuesday.

The European governing body are looking at ways to finish both club competitions this season after France banned all sporting events, including those behind closed doors, until September.

The French football authorities had hoped to resume their season on June 17 and finish the campaign on July 25, but have seen those plans scrapped after an announcement from Prime Minister Edouard Philippe.

It is still not yet known how Ligue de Football Professional (LFP) will choose to end the season, and it is not clear how French sides competing in Europe will be affected.
