Eddie Hearn has stated that Dillian Whyte is 'more likely' to face Tyson Fury in his next bout rather than a rearrangement of the clash against Otto Wallin.
The Brit pulled out of this weekend's fight against Wallin with a shoulder injury and is now keen to be mandated to fight Fury for the WBC heavyweight title.
While Wallin is keen for a rematch, Whyte has waited over 600 days for his shot as mandatory challenger and the time-frame to secure a bout is very tight.
Anthony Joshua's rematch with Oleksandr Usyk is expected to take place in April, with the winner then potentially facing off against Fury in a unification bout.
