dailyrecord.co.ukGet the stories that matter to you sent straight to your inbox with our daily newsletter.Two men have been sentenced after a drinker was attacked at a Motherwell pub.Craig Livingstone hit the man with a glass of beer and a bar stool.The assault continued outside the War Office in Milton Street where the man ended up on the ground and was kicked by James Bissett.Livingstone, 33, of Clydesdale Court, New Stevenston, was last month, put under supervision for a year and ordered to pay the victim £750 in compensation.He must also do 200 hours of unpaid community work.Livingstone admitted assaulting the man to his severe injury on August 4 last year.The victim had 22 staples put in head wounds.Jennifer McLaren, prosecuting, told Hamilton Sheriff.
