Two men arrested after drugs and £200k cash found hidden inside ‘Cops and Robbers’ gambling machine

On Thursday morning (June 3), GMP Salford, along with crews from the Tactical Aid Unit (TAU), executed warrants on three properties.

An estimated half kilo of suspected amphetamine and ‘at least’ £200,000 worth of cash were recovered. They were found concealed in a locked safe and a ‘Cops and Robbers’ gambling machine.

Two men, aged 31 and 34, both from separate addresses in Eccles, were subsequently arrested. They are being held in custody on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs.
