Two dogs dumped in crates outside rescue centre

The dogs, two terrior-type breeds, were abandoned on Honeywell Lane, Oldham, earlier this afternoon, Wednesday March 31. Both dogs were left inside cages outside the Pennine Pen Animal Rescue centre, who confirmed that the pets were now safe, and in the care of the dog warden.

The charity said: "We've been getting lots of messages and phone calls regarding their welfare. "The dogs are now safe with the dog warden while enquries are made into who owns them. "Both dogs were microchipped but to different owners outside of the area." Some people were
