Todd Spangler NY Digital EditorTwitter has a new way for tweeters to make money: The social network has acquired Revue, a small startup that operates a service to let writers self-publish subscription newsletters.“Revue will accelerate our work to help people stay informed about their interests while giving all types of writers a way to monetize their audience — whether it’s through the one they built at a publication, their website, on Twitter, or elsewhere,” Twitter product lead Kayvon Beykpour and VP of publisher products Mike Park wrote in a blog post announcing the acquisition.Terms of the deal were not disclosed.With Twitter’s acquisition of Revue, it is making Revue’s Pro features free for all users and changing the paid newsletter.
