Gearbox Software has announced the post-launch content plans for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, including a Fortnite crossover, season pass DLC , and more.The developer confirmed that the Borderlands spin-off game will be getting four pieces of DLC (downloadable content) all of which will be included in the season pass.Each DLC can be accessed through the “Mirrors of Mystery” content packs – which can also be bought separately – that will take players to a new world featuring five levels and a final boss fight at the end. In the age of coronavirus, artists from around the world are finding new ways to reach their fans with live music. Now, a star-studded lineup of artists are bringing their music to a brand new livestream series.

A lawsuit filed against Universal Music over a warehouse fire in 2008 that destroyed over 100,000 music recordings has been dismissed.

A federal judge has dismissed several iconic musicians’ lawsuit against Universal Music Group over a 2008 warehouse fire that destroyed archived recordings, The New York Times reports. The lawsuit was filed by Soundgarden, Steve Earle, Hole, and the estates of Tupac Shakur and Tom Petty last year in response to a Times investigation of Hollywood warehouse fire that reportedly destroyed many master tapes.

A federal judge has dismissed a class action lawsuit against Universal Music Group over a 2008 warehouse fire that a New York Times Magazine report last year claimed destroyed up to 500,000 master recordings in the the record company's archive vaults.The class action lawsuit was initially filed June 21, 2019, in California with claims by Soundgarden, Steve Earle, Hole, the estate of Tupac Shakur and by Jane Petty, Tom Petty's ex-wife and heir to 50% of his recording agreements. The plaintiffs were seeking to recover half of any settlement proceeds and insurance payments, reportedly valued at $150 million, that UMG received due to the 2008 fire on the Universal Studios backlot in a confidential settlement, according to court papers.

Steve Earle is the latest artist to drop his claims against Universal Music Group regarding the 2008 fire on the backlot of Universal Studios Hollywood. Earle filed a voluntary request with the court on Monday (March 23) to dismiss his claims “without prejudice,” thereby reserving his right to litigate those claims in the future.With Earle exiting, Tom Petty’s widow Jane Petty remains the sole plaintiff in the lawsuit against UMG regarding losses due to the fire.

Steve Earle has pulled out of a lawsuit against Universal Music Group that was filed by five artists last year over damage the artists’ musical recordings suffered in a 2008 fire that destroyed many assets in the company’s vaults. With the withdrawal from the lawsuit earlier this month of the Tupac Estate and Soundgarden, and withdrawal last year of the group Hole, this leaves only the contested estate of Tom Petty.

Back in June, Soundgarden, Steve Earle, and Hole, as well as the estate of Tupac Shakur and a former wife of Tom Petty sued Universal Music Group for over $100 million in damages. The suit was in response to The New York Times Magazine’s bombshell investigation of a 2008 fire at UMG’s Hollywood warehouse that left hundreds of thousands of master tapes destroyed.

A little advice from Steve Earle is what propelled Jonathan Wilson into his fourth solo album, Dixie Blur, which arrives March 6, but premieres exclusively on Billboard today (March 2).
