Trust bosses made the announcement today (Friday) as more pictures emerged illustrating the scale of the damage cause by Wednesday afternoon's blaze.

The hospital's roof is believed to have been struck by lightning during a thunderstorm, prompting a fire which saw a section of the roof collapse.
