Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Three arrested in connection with murder bid on man in Scots park

murder bid on a young man in a Fife park. The trio, aged 52, 22, and 20, were arrested after the 21-year-old was allegedly attacked in the park on Links Place in Burnisland at around 5.30pm on Saturday January 30.

An ambulance took the man to Ninewells hospital in Dundee for treatment after he was traced in Scott Street in Perth. A picture on the Fife Jammer Locations Facebook page last night showed the park taped off with a police car and an ambulance visible.Officers are now probing the incident.A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: "Three men aged 52, 22, and 20 have been arrested in connection with the attempted murder of a 21-year-old man at Links Place in Burntisland at 5.30pm on Saturday, 30 January."The man was later traced in Scott.
