This Morning viewers were left none too pleased as guest Matthew Wright criticised the Queen.The television presenter appeared on Tuesday's instalment of the ITV morning show to discuss the re-release of the 95 year old monarch's book, The Other Side Of The Coin: The Queen, The Dresser, and The Wardrobe.

However, 56 year old Matthew made his feelings for the Queen known as he told hosts Vernon Kay and Josie Gibson: "You know, why does a royal family have to be incredibly rich? "If you look at other royal families around Europe, they go around on bicycles, they live normal lives," Matthew said.

He added: "I felt very uncomfortable watching Prince Andrew walk her through the other day for Philip's ceremony." Matthew continued: "And here we hear her dresser breaks in her brand new custom-made shoes for her, so they're more comfortable. "The notion that the Queen has someone to break in her shoes for her..." Matthew's comments weren't taken too kindly, with one person taking to social media to comment: "Alright Matthew you don't like the royals we get it #ThisMorning." Another said: "Bore off Matthew.

Seriously, like a broken record #ThisMorning." A third added: "#ThisMorning Shut up Matthew. Stop criticising our Queen!" while a fourth added: "Shut up Matthew!!! #thismorning." This comes after Queen Elizabeth reportedly gave her blessing to royal dresser Angela Kelly to give a rare insight into the monarch after 70 years on the throne.
