Sarah Sharples from Swinton is one of the people who has hopped on the trend of knitting beautiful hats for post boxes in the country.

Its origins come from the Facebook group called ‘Random Acts of Crochet Kindess’ which was set up to put a smile on people’s face during the pandemic.

An avid knitter, Sarah has already been using her hobby to lift people’s spirits. So far, Sarah has only knitted one post box hat, found at Branksome Drive in Swinton, however, others have been spotted in and around Salford by other people who have so far
