The challenge offered incredible scenery of the region, leaving viewers wondering where it was filmed. ITV didn't reveal the location in the first episode of I'm a Celebrity but it's since been uncovered locally.

There was initially speculation that the scenes were shot in Snowdonia though this wasn't the case. The abseil was actually set against the backdrop of Penmon, a village near Beaumaris on Anglesey.
