Ever since the coronavirus pandemic caused leagues across to Europe to shut down, there has been debate over how the 2019-20 campaign should be concluded.

Some have talked of voiding the season, while Belgium declared their intention to declare Club Brugge champions based on the table as it stands.UEFA, however, have been clear that the current campaign must be completed.

On Saturday president Aleksander Ceferin set a deadline of August 3 for the 2019-20 season to be completed.Even if space can be found in the calendar though, and assuming the health situation allows games to take place behind closed doors, there is another factor to consider.
