The neighbourhoods hit hardest by coronavirus in Greater Manchester

Broughton Park in Salford has been the neighbourhood hardest hit by coronavirus in Greater Manchester, with the highest number of deaths recorded there.

There were 15 Covid-related deaths recorded in the neighbourhood between March 1 and April 17. The figures have been published on an interactive map showing how each postcode has been affected by coronavirus.

The neighbourhood with the second highest number of coronavirus-related deaths was Worsley - with 14 recorded there. There were 13 deaths recorded apiece in Higher Broughton, Little Hulton and Chadderton.

In New Delph, Dobcross and Austerlands and Poynton East there were 11 Covid-related deaths. In both Lower Irlam and Cadishead and Walkden North West there were 10 deaths in which
