UK Government’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme as thousands have already taken to restaurants up and down the country this week.

Around 72,000 eateries across the UK have signed up for the initiative that is hoped to restart the economy amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Foodies can get a 50% discount off food and drinks when they dine in at all of the participating restaurants in Scotland. But some people have gotten a little confused by the terms and conditions of the offer, reports the Mirror.

A number of diners took to social media to express their puzzlement at being knocked back for a cut-price takeaway from their favourite restaurants.One customer said: “Okay, I’m confused by this Eat Out to Help Out scheme now.
