deadline.comRefresh for updates: The 16th annual The Black List was announced this morning by Deus Nice and The Kid Mero, and below is the ranked list of hot unproduced (or on the verge of being produced) screenplays.
Leading this year’s list with 29 votes is Sophie Dawson’s Headhunter which follows a high-functioning cannibal who selects his victims based on their Instagram popularity.
However, he finds his habits shaken by a man who wants to be eaten.Taking a glance at this year’s list such projects as Kat Wood’s Ruby (7 votes) have already been snatched up for development by Amazon and 87North.
Fight or Flight (8 Votes) was recently acquired by Thunder Road. Apple and A24 already have Sharper in the works (17 votes) starring Still Alice Oscar
