The actress revealed she gave birth to her baby boy in hospital but without her husband by her side, as he stayed at home with their young daughter and instead FaceTimed in for the birth.
Coronavirus had left her family unable to travel to help them with this joyous time., So her husband was forced to make the decision to stay with their eldest, while Melissa chose to give birth on her own.
Writing for Glamour, however, she shared that she realized in the weeks before her due date that she wouldn't be alone, and that she would "have a partner" in the room with her - "the same one that’s been.
