Lancashire Live reports.The teenager suffered an injury to his his head and was taken to Royal Preston Hospital. He was later being discharged.His attacker is believed to be part of a group of four males who escaped the scene in a black car, police say.An area of the park was cordoned off while police enquiries took place.A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "We were called at around 5.15pm on Monday, July 6th, to the report that a teenager had been stabbed in Avenham Park, Preston close to the old Tram Bridge."The victim, 17, received an injury to his head and was taken by ambulance to Royal Preston Hospital.
