Nina Wadia has admitted that being eliminated first on Strictly Come Dancing impacted her mental health.The former EastEnders star, 52, and her professional partner Neil Jones left the show last month after facing Katie McGlynn in the show's dreaded dance-off.

Speaking candidly on a new podcast, Nina admitted that she was "very down" and "embarrassed" after she was the first star voted off the show, adding she felt as though she had let fans down.Talking on The Lads Dads And Couple Beers Podcast, she said that the exit came as a "big shock" and that she wasn't "expecting it".
