Met Office issued an amber snow warning for parts of Scotland on Saturday as a freezing blast sweeps across the country. It is expected to be the coldest weather seen across the UK as a whole since the deadly Beast from the East hit in February 2018.Storm Darcy's strong easterly winds are set to wreak havoc and lead to blizzards, snow drifts and ice forming on exposed power lines and phone masts.Locals in Glenshee have been snowboarding after heavy snow arrived this morning.Snow will continue to fall over higher ground until later today with Central, Tayside and Fife, Grampian, Highlands and Eilean Siar and Grampian to be worst hit.
