Storm debris littered across Scotland’s railway network has resulted in mass disruption for train travellers. A number of lines remain blocked by fallen trees which were uprooted by winds of up to 100mph during Storm Arwen.
A track safety inspection remains underway by Network Rail Scotland who are using a specialist helicopter to scour for blockages.
