Steve Clarke has ruled out making another attempt to cap Southampton frontman Che Adams. The former England Under-20 international was approached by Alex McLeish before Clarke assumed control of the national team but at that point Adams was unwilling to commit to one country.
It was suggested in reports last month that Adams, who has four goals in 14 appearances in this season's Premier League, would now be open to making the switch.
However, Clarke insists it's the Saints man who must build a future with Scotland after previously rebuffing their advances.
