Kim Kardashian
Kimberly Noel Kardashian West (née Kardashian; born October 21, 1980) is an American media personality, model, businesswoman, socialite and actress. Kardashian first gained media attention as a friend and stylist of Paris Hilton but received wider notice after a 2002 sex tape, Kim Kardashian, Superstar, with her then-boyfriend Ray J was released in 2007. The area, known to locals as “cancer alley,” contains seven of the 10 most carcinogen-ridden census tracts in America and has been called a “modern-day plantation” by activists.
The nickname “cancer alley” has also been disputed by some corporate leaders as a misnomer, citing below-average cancer rates in many districts.
