dailyrecord.co.ukSPFL have confirmed plans to conclude the Scottish lower league seasons. Leagues One and Two are set to follow a one-off split model in the same style as the Scottish Premiership after completing 18 games by April 23.
However, the league has warned sides that every team must reach the 18 games threshold - ensuring each side has played each other home and away - by April 23, or the respective division may be brought to an early end.
It follows a letter signed off by all 20 clubs across the two divisions to request the split format and a successful vote on the matter on Monday ahead of this weekend's return to action, following two months in cold storage as a result of the ongoing Covid situation.
