Manchester United are reportedly in negotiations with Barcelona over a late move for defender Sergino Dest. That's according to journalist Gerard Romero, who states that the La Liga giants are keen to get rid of the 21-year-old, who arrived at Camp Nou two years ago from Ajax in a deal worth around €20 million.
Dest, who has fallen down the pecking order at Barcelona, was handed his first-team debut at Ajax three years ago by United boss Erik ten Hag.
However, any move for Dest depends on whether or not Aaron Wan-Bissaka remains at Old Trafford, with the Englishman attracting interest from Crystal Palace and West Ham United – with no move currently on the cards.
