released the first trailer Friday for “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” from Emmy winner Ryan Murphy, with whom Peters worked on “American Horror Story.”The nearly 3-minute clip starts with the 35-year-old actor donning the serial killer’s signature aviator glasses and shaggy haircut as he brings a young black man into his apartment. “Home sweet home,” Peters mutters as he unlocks the door.

Once inside, the man uses his hat to fan away the apartment’s nasty smell before Peters eerily locks him in the apartment — for good.

A montage of Peters using different methods to torture — and eat — other innocent visitors follows as Dahmer’s real-life neighbor Glenda Cleveland, played by Niecy Nash, who tried to stop him from killing, asks, “What do you do in there?

The smells, power tools going all hours of the night.”“I hear screaming coming from your apartment,” she adds. Peters doesn’t answer her, and instead offers her a sandwich made with mystery meat. “Eat it,” he insists towards the end of the clip. “Y’all came too late,” a hysterical Cleveland says to a police officer. “I called you for months, and it’s too late!”From 1978 and 1991, the real Dahmer raped, murdered and dismembered at least 17 men and boys in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
