'Scrubs' Alum Sarah Chalke Splits From Fiance Jamie Afifi

A rep for the 46-year-old Scrubs and Roseanne alum shared the news of the couple’s split, adding that they’ve been separated for some time. “They remain committed to being devoted co-parents and good friends,” the reps added. Sarah and Jamie got engaged in 2006, but didn’t move forward with a wedding.
They have two children together — Charlie, 12, and Frances, 6. Currently, Sarah stars in Netflix’s Firefly Lane, opposite Katherine Heigl, and is working on the second season now, which is set to premiere later this year.
Ahead of the news of a second season renewal, Sarah opened up about the show during a podcast interview. She shared, “You so rarely see this incredible bond between two women in television.
I love their authentic, flawed relationship that it’s not this glossy, everything is perfect. You see them really go at it and overcome huge things, but then there’s this one thing that they can’t.” Sarah’s split isn’t the only one announced this week.
