Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (born Rachel Meghan Markle; August 4, 1981) is an American member of the British royal family and former actress.

From 2011 to 2017, she played Rachel Zane on the American legal drama Suits. It took years for the mum-of-two to discover what was wrong with her baby. Health visitors initially thought Ruby had autism, but the reality was something far worse.
Ruby had Rett syndrome. Rett syndrome is a rare disorder which causes severe mental and physical disability. The condition is estimated to affect about one in 12,000 girls born each year and is only rarely seen in boys.
