A delighted Scott Brown raised a toast to Celtic after his former side's massive win over Rangers at Ibrox. The Hoops triumphed at the home of their bitter rivals in the high noon showdown, with Tom Rogic and Cameron Cater-Vickers scoring the crucial goals in a 2-1 victory.
The last time Celtic won in Govan, Brown was leading the Parkhead club as captain in a fixture he always relished playing in.
After deciding to call it quits at Aberdeen to focus on his coaching career last month, Brown now enjoys a more relaxed atmosphere on Old Firm Sunday – but, as he shared with his Instagram followers, it seems he still gets plenty of satisfaction from seeing his old club come out on top.
Sharing a snap of the game on TV with his pint of lager on show, the former Parkhead skipper wrote: "Thanks lads, enjoyed that one I did." Today's result means Ange Postecoglou's men go six points clear of Rangers at the top of the Premiership table, with just six matches remaining and the final clash between Glasgow's big two at Celtic Park.
