Scots mum's mystery bumps and bruises turn out to be cancer

A young Scots mum has spoken of her anguish after learning that innocuous-looking bumps and bruises on her skin were actually cancer.Emma Lynch, 24, first noticed the bumps appearing on her legs and arms but assumed they were down to having a low iron count.The mum-of-four began to get worried after the marks quickly spread up her legs and after a trip to the hospital with a fever and racing heartbeat, she was given a horrifying diagnosis - blood tests revealed she had a life-threatening cancer condition.Her worst fears were confirmed when she was diagnosed with acute myeloid - a type of Leukaemia that occurs when the body makes too many immature white blood cells.
